Book review competition winners!!!

Thank you so much to everyone who entered the book review competition!!! 

We had over 150 entries, and it was so hard to choose the winners.

Well done to our librarians, for their stunning presentation.

It was also super fun when we all sang and tried to dance to  the tune of "Justine Bieber" song where the lyrics was changed to "I love books"

LIBRARY COMPETITION!!!

Hey Kids!

This is sooo exciting!!!  We having a competition at our Library. Write a review, draw or make a poster about YOUR favourite book, author, character, or just write about anything that you have read over the holidays.  This seems just perfect, to relax and read, or draw on these cold winter days and nights.

Can't wait to read all your reviews, and to look at your drawings. 
And guess what!!! We are awarding prizes to a student in the junior, middle and senior teams, including one for the most class entries.

Remember... if you did not get a copy of the entry form, or lost your copy, come and get one from Shahieda at the library.

Here are the rules of the competition:

• Only entries completed on this form will be accepted.
• One entry per child.
• Prizes will be awarded to one student in the junior, middle and senior teams, including one for the most class entries.
• Entries need to be placed inside the competition box in the Library by Friday 24th July 1:00pm.
• Winners will be announced at assembly and results posted on our blog.

Book parade photos!!

We had a very successful and fun time at our recent book character parade.

Lots of time and effort was put into the costume as you can see, so huge THANK YOU to everyone!!

It was extremely difficult for the judges to choose winners.

Book Character Parade

Hello everyone,

Tomorrow is our annual book character parade, yes!!! Come dressed as your favourite character or just any costume. It will start at 11:45am on our netball courts, or in the hall if it is raining. This year this event is even more special, as each student received two free books which have been kindly donated by Publishers Distributions.  THANK YOU so much!!

Parents, family and friends you are all invited to attend or participate and come and have fun with us.
